Jennifer Ruimi is a lecturer at the University of Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 and a member of the Institute for Research on the Renaissance, the Neo-Classical Age, and the Enlightenment (IRCL, UMR 5186). Her research focuses on eighteenth-century drama. She is the author of La Parade de société au 18e siècle, une forme dramatique oubliée (Champion, 2015) and is currently working on a new project on theatre and health in the eighteenth century. She has also co-edited, among other volumes, Théâtre et charlatans dans l’Europe moderne (Presses de la Sorbonne-Nouvelle, 2018), Espaces des théâtres de société : Définitions, enjeux, postérité (Presses universitaires de Rennes, 2020), and Théâtre et société : réseaux de sociabilité et représentations de la société (revue Études de Lettres, 2022).
